Birthdays!

Isn't it incredible how time seems to fly when it comes to see our children growing? My sweet Luca turned 1 yesterday, and I wanted to create something special for him, he is such a sweet little giant!!!
So, I created this invitation, to use on facebook in digital format and print on a 5x7 invitation HM format.
Everybody loved it, and I know when he will look at what his mom did for him, he will be so proud!
It surely is not your everyday invitation!

I loved creating this invitation so much, that I got another idea for my first born, who is turning 5 in September: since he is going to have a Dinosaur cake, I tweaked Luca's invitation changing backgrounds and words, and added dinosaur embellishments.
I also thought that it would be cute to have pictures from each of his previous birthdays, to show how much he has changed, especially look at his hair!!!

I might change the front picture once I take some more beach pictures, but this is mainly what his birthday party invitation is going to look like!
FUN!!^_^

Last, but not least, this is the invitation I created for my second child, who turned 3 in July, in a totally different style:
It is so easy and fun to create one of a kind cards and invitations with Heritage Makers, I just can't stop!^_^

Not to mention how less expensive is to make them and to ship them with the direct shipping available!
No more stamp licking!^_^

I love the father of my children

Yes, I love my husband, I am so grateful that he chose me as the mother of his children a little over 6 years ago, and I want him to know it every day more, so I have created a father's day card for him, with pictures of him with our children, our children alone, and all of us together, and a few words that express what our children and I feel.
He is such a great dad, he plays with the kids, changes diapers, cooks when I cannot do it, helps me give the boys their baths, and works hard to find a job now that he is unemployed while allowing me to preserve our heritage so that our children will always know who they are.
I created this card starting from a template in the template gallery and I changed it a little because I wanted to add more pictures, inside and on the back. It took just a few minutes and the best dad in the world is going to have a wonderful card for father's day! You can have a full view of the card by clicking here.
You will be able to zoom, open and close and see the card from any angle just by clicking on it and dragging around with your mouse.

Make your mom cry for Mother's day!!

Ok, I am not trying to tell you to hurt your mom, but if you are like me, you just don't want to give a gift just because you have to, but because it comes from your heart, and you desire to reach your mother's heart.
I really desired to give a gift that touches the heart, that is why I am giving my mom a Storybook about her visit here in the States.
I hope I will be able to steal a tear from her eyes.
You see, my mom is not the kind of person that will show you her emotions, and it is really difficult to get a thank you or any kind of appreciation from her.
I had been asking her to come visit me in the States for more than 5 years, and her excuse was always her fear of the long airplane flight...
Well, last year I sent her a mother's day card in which I expressed her again our desire to have visit us here, and the miracle happened: she was finally going to come to America!!!

She came for Christmas, and I want her to know how much we appreciated her coming here, so I put this book together for her.
